Why Panamericana? The Panamericana is the worlds longest road, connecting Prudhoe Bay (Alaska) with Ushuaia (Argentina) over a distance of roughly 26'000 km. It leads through different time and climate zones, various countries and cultures and has a stunning nature. This diversity is tempting us. And, of course, we want to travel to the end of the world!

Planned itinerary
Our bicycle adventure starts in March 2016 in Los Angeles. From there we will start cycling northwards enjoying the Pacific coast, passing the US states of Oregon and Washington. In Seattle we will cross the border to Canada. After enjoying Vancouver we plan to cycle through Jasper National Park and then back to the coast. From Prince Rupert a ferry will bring us to Skagway from where we will experience the Yukon and Alaskan wilderness. After 7'000 - 9'000 km on the bicycles, we hope to reach Anchorage by August or September 2016.
After that, we have neither decided on an itinerary nor the means of transportation: most probably we'll skip Central America, fly to e.g. Quito or Lima and travel southwards with rental cars, buses,...
We will try our best to keep you updated on our current position in the maps tab.
